Assemblage: Trees 3

I’ve been working on a series of 3D assemblage ‘tree’ sculptures made out of found objects such as wood chip, cardboard, wire, foil, bottle lids, and wine/rum bottle corks. I’m interested in exploring this series further and creating more assembled trees using various found objects. so far all of the alcohol caps and corks that I have used are from bottles that my boyfriend bought. I think that this could potentially add an interesting conceptual layer to the ‘trees’, and so I may continue to only use alcohol corks and lids from bottles of wine that he purchases.

Tree 7 is made using wire, a wine bottle cork, cardboard, found wood, and acrylic paint. *measurments to come*

I like the minimal simplicity of this tree, as well as the white spirals sprouting out of the top. Tree 8 is made using wire, a wine bottle cork, found wood, and acrylic paint. *measurments to come*

I like my use of the bottle lid, as well as the over all composition of this tree, as it reminds me of a palm tree. Tree 9 is made using wire, a wine bottle cork, bottle lid, found wood, and acrylic paint. *measurments to come*
