Haitian Artists & Courtyards

Something I have enjoyed painting this year is this series of little courtyard scenes. The series was inspired by the paintings of Haitian artists Philome Obin, Heitor dos Prazeres, Edgar Jean baptiste, and also Uruguayan painter Pedro Figari. I would like to continue to paint these little courtyard vignettes whilst making them more relevent to my creative practice by incorporating elements from my chosen themes.
