Colour Matching

Using acrylic paint I attempted to replicate another one of Albert Lubaki’s paintings to practice painting loosely, I also used it as an oppurtunity to practice colour matching.

Albert Lubaki’s painting on the right, and my attempt at replicating on the left. I feel I did an ok job of matching the colours, but I could have done a better job regarding the hue and tones of certain colours.

Continuing to practice coulour matching, I attempted to colour match the red crocodile from an Antoinette Lubaki painting (right). I felt I did a very good job of matching the colour to the original painting, though after a slight edit, the colour on the screen looks less like an accurate match than it does in person.
