Oil Paint Collage

These collages were a bit of. happy accident. I had initially made 3 oil paintings that I didn’t like, and after getting frustrated about none of my paintings ‘working’ I started to cut them up. I didn’t want to waiste all of the oil paint that I had used making the initial painting, so I decided to make colllages out of the cut ups. I really like how they came out, I love the textures and colours, and the 3D effect created by the cut outs, and would like to experiment with collage art again in the near future.
