Oil Paintings

I’ve been focused alot on painting lately, and specifically oil painting, these ones in particular were done on 25x25cm paper. I’ve been painting on square paper alot as I’ve been keeoing in mind platforms that we typically share images on such as instagram. The painting on the top is my favourite of these 7 paintings, as I like the colour pallette that I used as well as the composition. I would love to continue painting with oil paints, as it has a rich quality to it. I do however want to develop a distinct colour pallette for myself as I want my work to look more cohesive. I also find myslef using alot more primary colours than I’d like to, and would like to use less bright and more deep colours in my painting going forward.
