Littlest White Chapel.

This is the third painting in what I’m considering a newly developed phase in my creative practice. In this phase I am prioritising enjoying the process as well as the final outcome of creating. I am working smaller scale (specifically 14.8x21cm oil paintings). I am exploring traditions, societal expectations, and nuanced experiences of African women in relation to 'The Church’.

I’ll be launching my new business model at the end of November, where I will be selling original art, small paintings and sculptures directly from my website.

As well as this, I will be following a consistent and efficient social media schedule- posting at least 1 instagram story per day, 3 instagram posts per week, and 1 short instagram reel per week.

I will also be utilising Youtube by posting 1 short per week (the same video as the instagram reel), and 1 long form (about 10 minutes) video documenting my creative process each week.

Lastly, I want to get back to building my mailing list and sending out a newsletter once a week.

I ordered a few custom frames for my A5 paintings. I enjoy seeing my work framed as it makes it a lot easier to envision my paintings in a buyers home or space.
